Today was THE best day in my entire life! We walked already the whole week with the MR. North Penn sash around and tonight was the final show! Right after school we went to the auditorium where we prepared ourselfes for the final show! 30 minutes before the actual show the room started to fill up! Over 1000 people came to the show! It was crazy! The show started and i was really nervous, but after the opening act it was just so much fun!!! My pick up line was pretty bad because they made me change it right before the show and a pick up line which is school appropriate is kinda hard to find! so my pickup line was pretty bad! My swim suit act was not that good too because i had to change there a lot one day before too what i didnt liked like at all! 2 minutes before my acctual talent! Omg i was nervous and my suport man wasnt there yet so an other guy slided me on the stage! That feeling when they announce your name and the whole room screamed your name!?! just crazy! In my talent every thing worked out pretty well and it was just perfect. After i walked away from the stage and every one was cheering and screaming just for you! omg that feeling was just perfect! I was so happy after i did my talent clara and marine came behind the stage and gave me a hug and said " you killed it!" "great job!" I was almost crying because i was so happy that i did it!
Who can say they went alone on a stage infront of 1000 people and more and it wasnt sure if they like you or you just make yourselfe to the weirdest person in a 4000 people high school!!??
I got 3rd place!!!!! it was so amazing!
A lot of people after that show at school told me that it was really funny and they were cracking up! After i did that i got a lot of new friends at the high school and i am one of the more popular kids at a 4000 people high school! thats just so cool! When you walk trought the hallway to your next class, a lot of people give you "high fives" or say " Hey, how you dooen?" "Hey, man whats up?" i am so happy and proud that i did it!
It was the best night in my whole life! I have the best time here in America!
I miss my family but i kinda dont wanna come home!

No Power=( sniff

Today the power went out for 12h at our house. It was horrible! I couldnt do anything and it got from time to time colder in our house! So I started walking around in the house with a hoddie on!?!?!?!
In america were 3 Million people without electricity for 4 days! We were lucky that we just had 12 hours but whatever. Everyone was trying to buy generators but they were all sold out in the whole Philladelphia area! It got so cold in our house that we tried to go to the mall but guess what? ohhh right the mall didnt had power too!
So we went to the only Mc Donalds with power and ate first. We were like an hour in the Mc Donalds car line it was just horrible and so crowded. The snow the cars and the people every one was freeking out! After Mc Donalds we went to a hotel and tried to get a room to stay over night but all hotels in the whole area are over boked already. So we went back to our house and tried to spend time in playing games or reading. It pretty mch sucked without communication. In the evening we tried to go out for dinner but they were so over loaded every where that you had to wait over 2 hours to get a table. So we went home and at around 22.00 we got finaly electricity back!
That was the full experience! hahah

Today was the Suerbowl!
All americans were freeking out for that event! The food stores were full of people!
The best part of the whole thing was eating dinner infront of the TV and watching the game=) The Seattle seahawks won with 43 points over the Denver Broncos 8 points. It was a really boring and one sided game! The commericals between the plays were hilarious! Btw they pay for 30 seconds commercials 4 million USD!!! crazy! How do i know that? For some reason i take sprots marketing as a subject! ahhaha
PS: I was for Meanning and the Broncos!!

Today we had finaly the beginning of our 3 days ski tripp to Jay Peak (vermont)!
We had to bring our bags to a special place before first period in the mornings! This school is really strict! so they let the police come with some doggies and searched in each bag of us for drugs or alcohol. We left directly after school and we drove first like 4 hours to a little gas station.
We ate dinner there! On the trip were like 50 people and of course the exchange students were there too ( clara, zoe, marine,) after dinner we still had 6 hours to go. So we took the time to take a nap=) ( taking a nap on a long ride is the best thing you can do!) just saying=)
It was like 2 o clock when we arrived in Vermont! We got our rooms and went to bed! I got some really cool people in my room!
The teachers seriously put tape on our doors so when we would open the doors the tape would be broken and they would see it next morning! But whatever! It was amazing weather! The snow was pretty good too!
In the evening we went to the indoor water park.( it was in our hotel) It was so much fun and i did my first looping waterslide! It was awesome! (the pressure on your body was pretty funny but I kinda hurt my back) After the waterslides we went in the hot tube. The 2 other days of snowboarding were funn too but you know the ski resort was pretty big for america! it wasnt bad!no not at all and we still had a lot of funn! but you cant put it on the same level like a ski tripp in the swiss alps! Thank you mom and dad for that cool christmas present i had a lot of fun and i really enjoyed the time skiing in america!!!!!! love you!

Today was New Years eve!
The whole "sunny time" of the day was kinda boring.
Of course i went to a couple parties. I really cant tell every thing about each party.
It was really special at around 10 oclock we sat all infront of the tv and just watched the show form new york times square and waited until it got 12 o clock! At 12 o clock guess what happened? not a lot! they threw confetti in the air and gave each other a hug......weird. After that we went out and we ignited the sparkling sticks! But you know we are teenager and yes we do somethimes questionable thins hahah so they started to swing them around so fast that the sparkles jumped every where around! We kinda got marines hair on fire!
I felt so sorry for her! (but it was so funny) It wasnt that bad she didnt lost a lot of hairs....
Yes i cant tell you a lot of more but it was still a great time!

Today was one of my best days here!
I woke up at 6 o clock and went on my one day in new york experience tripp!
Of course we ate breakfast at Mc Donalds=) After 1 hour we arived at the trenton trainstation and we took are train to NY! I never saw a slower train in my life i thought! It was pretty slow the first 15 minutes but than it was like a 'turbo' train trough the landscape from switzerland! At 10.30 we arived in Downtown NY and guess what was the first thing was what i saw when we came out of the underground trainstation? Yes it was a typical yellow american taxi=) At like 11 we met our guide for the personal 6 hours tour. I saw so many cool things! like time square with the huge tv screens all over the places, the rockerfeller center, the new york shopping block, momorial garden, a couple churges, the empire state building, and of course a lot of huuuuuuuge buildings! For lunch we went to joe pizza where spiderman worked in the first movie (2002) if you ever saw that movie than you know which one i mean! ( he comes out from work and runns over the street and he meet his girl)
It was just a such amazing day! I saw so much! i am just so thankfull that i have the chance to see that in my young age! It rained the whole day and my clothes were soped but it was still cool!
I couldnt take pictures with my camera because it got water on the lense all the time when i tried to take a picture it was pretty bad and wet.
I will come back here!

Christmas!!!!!

Guess what day it is! yes right Christmas day!
I woke up at like 7 and guess who was annoying me already that i HAVE to run down and see everything! hahah yes of course it was Cara.
she was so excited!
i have to say that i wasn't that excited because it is like really special not to be with your own family! and of course presents in the morning?!? it is just different and kind of strange but whatever it was nice!
When i came down i saw all the socks hanging there! i got one too!
After we unwrapped all presents we ate breakfast and i had to pack my stuff together to visit the grandparents in Virginia. the car ride took like FOREVER!
After we arrived guess what?! yes we started unwrapping our presents again. After i got my Rugby ball we ate dinner with the whole family of (Nicoles) side. The food was really good but yes how i said it is really different.

Today we (Anthony and Michael) went to a gun show!
It was so crazy! and guess what they had weapons there! haha
I saw a lot of really cool stuff like knifes in different forms and shapes, from shotgun to sniper everything.
When i tried to take pictures they started yelling at me that i am not allowed to take pictures! Whatever!
Hhaha after what i saw! I think Americans are better prepared for Zombie apocalypse than for a lot of snow hahah!
Later that day we went to see some really crazy houses ( it is tradition)! and by crazy houses i mean like houses with a lot of Christmas lights on them. It was amazing! i couldn't find one spot on the whole house which wasn't covered with lights! it was just CRAZY!
I think it is a pretty strange hobby but at least it looks really pretty and they needed special people to handle the traffic because they just stopped in the middle of the street to see that incredible thing!

Today was a huge meteor shower! how do i know that today is the biggest meteor shower in the whole year? Oh yes for some reason i take ASTRONOMY which is a really cool subject at school and i am happy that i could take it. I learn just so much in that class! like about the stars about the universe, the names of some different stars, the constellations and how i could calculate all the stuff i need to know! I need a lot of math in that class which is sometimes really complicated but at least i learn a lot!
Yea the meteor shower (geminid) was really cool i don't know but i think they look different in america than in Switzerland! i cant explain how they look different i just think so!
I really like to just watch the stars and know almost all their names and constellations!

America is so wonderful! We get like 3-4 inches of snow and guess what happens!?! NO SCHOOL!
first i thought that is a huge joke but noo we seriously had like no school! It was beautiful i sleeped until like 11! it felt so good just don't have to go to school=) But there is always a bad part of it! My bad part of it was shoveling the drive way! i cant say a lot about it i rather shovel a little and don't have school!

Eagles Game!

Eagles Game!
Today was a boring Sunday and we didn't do a lot but we watched the eagles game like every Sunday!
I was so proud that i saw that game because at this time there was a snowstorm in Downtown Philadelphia and the field was covered with around 6-8 inches( 15-20 cm) and it was just so funny to see how they slided around on the field and dived in this snow blanked=) The eagles were pretty bad in the first 3/4 of the game but in the last one they turned the game!
At the end the Eagles won 34 to 20 against the Detroit Lions!
It was such a cool game!
Thanks to LeSean McCoy for saving the Eagles butt and turned the game!

First Rugby Game!!!!
Today i had my first rugby game the "turkey ball"
why turkey ball because it was directly after thanks giving=)
It was a lot of fun but we lost=(
I was a little afraid to go in contact with the other team, because i never played a ruff sport like that...
Who ever knows the rules or the positions... i was the weak winger! After i got tackled the first time (it hurted a lot!) it felt so good! and i could enjoy the game! hahah isnt that strange it hurts but it is so much fun! yea i like it and i am looking forward for the next games!

For thanksgiving we went to the host-grandparents in Virginia.
It was a boring ride but it was such good food! that turkey and this ambrosia(fruit and marshmallow salad!)
It was just so good food and i think i eat way to much!
Ambrosia is my favorite food from thanksgiving!
Blackfriday:
Is mostly a huge shopping thing... because the shops reduce the prices and everyone search for cheap stuff!
I couldn't see it because my host mom told me it isn't fun at all and it can be dangerous! So i didn't got the crazy shopping experience=) and i didn't felt like standing in line forever...
No offense to americans! I saw that picture and i thought that's exactly what it is!
100 days America!

EVERY THING IN THIS POST IS NOT OFFENSIVE AGAINST AMERICANS ITS JUST WHAT I SAW AND WHAT I RECOGNIZED!
This first 100 days were really interesting and i got a lot experience! I had a wonderful time and i am looking forward for the next //200 days//
I learned how to fight for what i want and what its good for me, handle problems by myself and i think this 100 days changed me a lot!
So Americans:
- they do every time something when they are driving in the car:
- eating
-drinking (soda)
-texting
or be on the phone like calling someone or talking to the hands-free headset!
- they walk around in the house with shoes
- they don't have winter wheels( they have something like all time wheels or something... sorry forgot the name=))
-they are not really prepared for snow....( just what i saw)
-when they know something comes like a storm they buy a lot of stuff especially milk and eggs...
-they are not really good in snowball fights
-fitness center: they take everything they can so much protein they can and anabolica....( not everyone but a lot)
- they drive everywhere does not matter how far...
Yes that was it.... I say it again not all Americans are like that!

Catching Fire!

Today I was at the movies with Anthony and Kate to see the new "Hunger Games"
Americans were really flipped out because every one wanna to see that new movie.....
I really liked that movie and i cant wait to see the third one!
NOT OFFENSE! American movie theaters are really weird.... There is no break between a movie to go pee or buy snacks and you don't get a seat number you just sit where ever you want to!

Space Shuttle

Today after Rugby practice, my host dad told me that we could see a space shuttle if we watch down to south. The shuttle would start from Virginia. So we drove home and i saw a little red doth in the beautiful really clear November night sky. I asked my host mom if it is the space shuttle? she told me that it should be bigger.... As we arrived at home i runed out in the backyard because i really wanna see a space shuttle!
who can tell their kids that he/she saw a space shuttle? i think not a lot people from Europe can do that!
So i waited over an hour and it was so freezing cold but i didn't wanna go back in to get a bigger jacket because i could miss it! so i waited and waited....
After one hour and 15 minutes i went back in and Dominic asked me what i did so long outside?
I told him i waited for the space shuttle!
D: Ohh you missed it! it was something like an hour ago!
M: are you kidding me? so i waited for nothing? and freezed my butt of?
D: yes it was just a small little doth!
ahhh man it was that little doth which i saw out of the car!

Today is Halloween and a lot of kids dressed up to school in their Halloween costumes...... couple of them were really weird=) A lot of the girls where cats....meow!
After school we carved Pumpkins at home...I want to carve a spider but i messed it up... so it just looks like a shield=)
In the evening I went with cara and friends of her trick or treading=), but after 10 houses i had enough for 2 months....
After I was finish trick or treading I went back to our house and i helped my host dad to give the little kids candy=) The kids were so cute....
Halloween is really crazy in america... There are a lot of haunted houses and the people decorated their houses with everything what looks like death......

Today i was with Ricky,Emily,Anthony,Claire,Libby,Matthew, Kelly and Nicki at Dorney Park=) We had so much fun... The roller coasters were pretty lame for me because i was already in Hershey park=) But the main attraction (asylum) a big haunted house with a lot of creepy stuff.... it was so amazing....
I think that i saw all that stuff there already in all the scary movies i have seen=) It was a really cool day with my american friends.

Guess what happened???
I was today at a Phillis game!!!!!!!
Sammi Paul invited me, because they have season tickets and they are not normal season tickets!!!! They were VIP tickets! We were so close to the home plate that you could see us on TV! It was just so amazing and a great experience! It was such a big stadium and so many people! Just amazing! The tickets were really cool, because you can buy with them for 30.- fan stuff like shirts hats and stuff like that...=)
